It was a bad day for a gang of suspected armed robbers that have been terrorising Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, as three of their members were nabbed when the police stormed their hideout along Ada George Road in the city, on Thursday, November 19.
In a post on the State Police Command Facebook page, the police report that after a serious gun battle, the trio of Goodluck Worwu, Charles Wogu and Atochi Ezizie,
were arrested while arms and ammunitions were recovered from them
including two AK 47 rifles, one K2 rifle, five magazines, 135 rounds of
7.62 live ammunition and assorted charms.
