No Time To Waste! See What Fashola Did On His First Day In Office As Minister Of Power, Works And Housing

Work has already begun… former governor of Lagos state did not waste time after being sworn-in as he immediately assumed duty after the inauguration of the federal cabinet by President Muhammadu Buhari.



When he got to the secretariat, he was joyously welcomed with a loud ovation by the staff of the ministry. He stepped into his office at about 3.15 p.m. He was ushered in by Mrs Grace Papka, the director in charge of Human Resources of the ministry.

He did not waste time as he immediately had a closed-door meeting with the directors in the ministry. Also, the state’s Minister for Power, Works and Housing, Alhaji Mustapha Shehuri, also arrived at the complex where he joined Fashola and the directors at the meeting…He met Permanent Secretary and Directors to prepare grounds for the task ahead.
