As predicted by
InfoMini's Blog,
there will be no fresh election in Kogi State, irrespective of the ugly
turn of event with regards to the unexpected death of APC's Prince Audu
Abubakar, who was clearly the leading candidate in the November 21,
2015, governorship election.
From records, APC has already won the election because the number of
registered voters with PVC in the affected areas is far less than the
difference between the APC and the PDP candidates.
Consequently, INEC leadership has taken action...
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Tuesday
afternoon told the All Progressives Congress (APC) to “fill the vacancy”
created by the death of Prince Abubakar Audu, its candidate in the Kogi
state governorship election, immediately.
The electoral body also announced that it has fixed December 5 for the
supplementary election in the few affected areas in the state.
