According to Islamic website www.islamicmovement.org, hoodlums on Friday, October 23 attacked Islamic faithfuls on their way trekking to Ashura gathering in Jos using cutlasses, knives and iron rods. About 15 people were injured.



Muharram, Islamic believers trek from their destinations to Husainiyyah located at Unguwar Rogo, Jos, peacefully for Ashura mourning gatherings. It was on the Friday the 10th of Muharram that the hoodlums carried out the unprovoked attack. See more photos…
